Twitter Tutorial
During our course we will be using Twitter, a micro blogging system that has the ability to disperse information in real time within the Twitter verse and beyond. Allowing 140 characters per message, users often include links to outside websites, blogs and youtubes which provide further information about their Tweet for their audience. There are also a variety of places on the web to help you shorten your links such as bit.ly. Remember to address your tweets to @irdproject and any other individuals or groups you wish to communicate with.
To view your tweet history:
1) Log in to your account 2) Under your name on the left it says tweets (see pic) 3) Click the word 'tweets' 4) A list of your tweets will appear on the right 5) This is what you are responsible for; that is to have a tweet for each week of class. (Approx. 12 tweets addressed @irdproject) 6) You do not need to "find" your tweet on our class feed or the hashtag page or worry about if we are following you. Check your tweet history instead. |
Here is a great site we recommend to order your home page that provides different box layouts, photos and suggestions
